Jack O'Lantern Spectacular: Louisville's Can't-Miss Halloween Event

The Jack O'Lantern Spectacular takes place annually at Louisville's Iroquois Park, transforming the woods into an illuminated pumpkin wonderland. The 2023 event runs from October 3 through October 31, with the trail opening at dusk each night.

What to Expect This Year

The trail features over 5,000 intricately carved pumpkins lined up along a winding walking path. Pumpkins are carved into different shapes and designs, creating unique themed scenes set to music. Some of the displays include underwater seascapes, dinosaurs, dragons, and classic Halloween motifs. It's an organic art gallery made entirely of carved pumpkins!

Getting Tickets for 2023

Timed tickets must be purchased in advance for entry, with slots available from 6:30pm to 10pm Sunday through Thursday, and 6:30pm to 11:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Guests enter the amphitheater in 1-hour time slots and can access the trail anytime after dusk.
